The Urban Palimpsest: The Architecture of Disassembly

This series of print collages explores the anatomy of urban space through a lens of poetic disassembly. Urban Palimpsests peels back the layers of the built environment—steel, concrete, signage, shadow—to expose the fractured rhythms and forgotten geometries beneath the surface. Each composition is a spatial excavation, where grids dissolve into gesture and facades fracture into memory. Inspired by Brutalism, modernist decay, and the silent choreography of city life, these works reimagine architecture not as permanence, but as a mutable archive of human intention, erosion, and reinvention.
