About the Artist
Gerald Allen Knowles — Architect • Artist • Creative Director
GAK Creations is the lifelong artistic journey of Gerald Allen Knowles, an architect and visual storyteller shaped by more than four decades of creative exploration across Europe, the Caribbean, and the Canary Islands.
Born with an early fascination for how things are built — in nature, in cities, in the quiet geometry of everyday life — Gerald’s work blends the precision of architectural training with the emotional depth of lived experience. His art is rooted in observation: staircases in Saintes, coastlines in Fuerteventura, the warm light of the Bahamas, the textured histories of France and Spain.
✦ A Life in Lines, Light, and Movement
Gerald’s career spans 45+ years of architecture, teaching, and experiential learning. His time at the Centre d’Étude d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme in Saintes, France, shaped his understanding of form, rhythm, and spatial storytelling. Travel deepened it — each place adding a new layer of color, memory, and meaning.
Today, based in Fuerteventura, he continues to draw from the landscapes around him: volcanic horizons, Atlantic winds, and the quiet poetry of island life.
✦ The Vision Behind GAK Creations
GAK Creations is more than a brand — it is a living archive of sketches, prints, and visual narratives. Each piece carries:
- the discipline of architectural drawing
- the spontaneity of travel
- the emotion of memory
- the clarity of minimalist design
Gerald’s work invites viewers to slow down, observe, and rediscover the beauty in structure, shadow, and place.
✦ Craft, Quality & Global Reach
Every artwork is produced using premium materials through trusted global partners, ensuring museum‑grade quality and worldwide accessibility. Whether a coastal print, an architectural study, or a travel‑inspired composition, each piece is crafted to last.
